Pendergardens Development Progress
Following the completion of Block 16, the last phase of construction at Pendergardens is currently in full swing. This phase includes the construction of an underground car park, the commercial area, Block 17 and T1 & T2.
The Commercial Area
The double height podium, all along Pendergardens’ frontage on St Andrew’s road, underlies Blocks 16, 17 and T1 & T2. This podium, together with the first eight floors within the T1 & T2 make up the Pendergardens commercial area.
At road level there will be a supermarket, several retail outlets and an imposing lobby to the T1 & T2’s business centre, with a fitness centre having an outdoor pool and office space taking up the first floor.
We are very pleased to announce that a promise of sale for the Supermarket was signed with Valyou Supermarkets in April last year and we expect them to start operating in Q1 2018. Valyou is a network of Supermarkets spread throughout Malta who carry Carrefour products from Europe’s largest Supermarket chain.
Block 17
This block consists of 47 residential apartments.
The apartments in Block 17 were launched on the market for sale whilst still on plan and enjoyed a very successful release – to date just three apartments remain for sale with the majority of apartments being sold on launch day in May 2016.
Civil works are nearing completion and external finishes will start in January 2017. Internal infrastructure and M&E are also well underway and are well within our programme with other internal trades to start shortly.
Block 17 is expected to be completed in Q3 2018 and all units handed over by the end of October 2018.
