Xara Palace’s De Mondion wins restaurant guide overall award

De Mondion Restaurant at the Xara Palace Hotel, Mdina, won the top Overall Restaurant Award and scored the highest points for food, service and ambience in the annual survey conducted by the Definitive(ly) Good Guide, supported by the Malta Tourism Authority, HSBC and Marsovin.

The Guide’s managing director, Lisa Grech, said: “We are delighted that 12 years on we are still the number one restaurant guide in Malta.”

The restaurants that received awards based on food, service, ambience and overall ratings were De Mondion, Blue Elephant, Oceana, Grill 3301, Palazzo Parisio and Gardens – The Luna Collection, The Arches, The Edge, Taste, Medina, Bottega del Vino, Patrick’s Tmun, Sa Re Ga Ma, Quadro, Tarragon, Temptasian, Tartarun, Pulitos, Hibiki, Nuvo, Gazebo, The Terrace, Ta’ Karolina, Kon Tiki, Buffalo Bill’s, Ristorante Tigne, Ta’ Frenċ, Shiva’s, Nargile, Can Thai, Spice Island, Le Luci Di Marsascala, The Lord Nelson, Essence, Zest, Sciacca, Rebekah’s, La Mère, Villa Brasserie, The Boat House, Al Molo and Zeri’s.
